Solarpunk and why I like it. 

Many people have heard of steampunk and cyberpunk and some may have heard of diesalpunk but have you heard of Solarpunk. If you have then good for you, if however you don't know about Solarpunk, let  me explain.

Solarpunk is vison of a sustainable future where humanity lives in harmony with nature instead against it and where humanity sustainably produced and consume.  It does this by using sustainable and efficient technology like solar cooker, electric vehicle, low tech like terracotta cooling, uses renewable energy  like solar and wind, grow food sustainably in the form of food forest, permaculture and urban agriculture and growing your food.  

The reason I like Solarpunk because the things I have label is possible, available today and can be done by the people. Since climate change is bringing bad news to humanity and since governments and politician  are busy talking and not taking action, Solarpunk is something we can do plus it is ray of hope in world of climate anxiety. However this won't happen unless we do something and even though it may have anarchists tendencies it is still better than the future of  ecological disaster.

If you are not convinced then did you know that Solarpunk is an art movement like art deco, art nouveau and Bauhaus so you can use it for architecture, paintings and products. If however you aren't convinced or still don't understand then I would recommend doing your on research on Solarpunk .
