Earth ship

The Earth ship

Our house has a problem their problem their design are sustainable as they uses concreate which produces carbon dioxide  and depending where you are, your electricity is made out fossil fuel and might not insulated .

So is their an alternative? Well their is a building
called Earth ship. An Earth ship is a building that design to sustainable and to be self reliant. 

It is made out of local and recycle  material such as mud. tires and tin can. It's power by solar energy though it can also be powered by wind. Since it supposed to be self reliant they are design to harvest water from rain and melted snow. This is harvest from the roof top and stored in a tank. Speaking of water, the Earth ships has the ability to treat greywater so it can be used to water plants and crops and since it is self reliant it has the ability to grow food, because why not.

Other then that it is has natural insulation. They store heat and keep out heat. It rely on passive solar heat to maintain temperature. 

However the main disadvantage is that only work in dry dessert like  area and anywhere else it needs some serious modification and since it relies on passive solar heat, it might over heat, Despite that I personally I believe that Earth ship is a good alternative to regular house but if look at/research at different alternative so we can have different type of house for different places.
